"These are small numbers, and there's no expectation that these networks will be built over the short to mid-term," Neubecker says. "The freight sector, which typically leads the field for new market entrants, is now making some interesting and informed comments on what the freight industry needs, which is a more streamlined, cost effective freight network." Containers are probably the most successful network product of the past decade, although most network providers have moved more into traditional freight networks over the last couple of years.
